Two months had passed since the Kijuju incident. Chris hadn’t really processed what happened. He knew, but he didn’t believe it. Perhaps he was just in a little state of shock. Though the paychecks from the BSAA weren’t too bad.
Chris was out for a drive, thinking things over. He was tired. Very tired. He had been having a few nightmares as of late. Wesker, mostly. The unforgivable things he has done, what he did to Jill… Chris still couldn’t process it. How could Wesker do that to her? Just the thought of it was making Chris feel a little hot. He sighed. “Calm down, Chris…” Wesker was gone for good, or so Chris wanted to believe.
He thought about Jill again. What could be going through her mind, Chris wondered. She was put through just as much as Chris was, if not more. He felt bad, not really having the time lately to check up on Jill.
Reaching over to the passenger seat, Chris picked up his cell phone and dialed Jill’s number. “Hope she’s home..” He thought to himself, making a U-Turn and drove towards Jill’s house.
